This Islamic Educational Institute named "JANIIATUL ULOOM AL-ISLAMIA (QAWMI MADRASAH) SIRAJGANJ, BANGLADESH" is the result of the religions spirit, sentiment and the cultural identity of the local muslim majority. It was established in the heart of Sirajganj city in North of Bangladesh. The side of this institute, once upon a time, was the center of unsocial activities aiming at to destroy the moral character of the youths. Considering the dangerous consequences of these evil acts, the Muslim inhabitants of the locality came forward and took necessary steps to set up an Islamic educational Institute. By the Grace of Almighty Allah and through co-active of the local people along with financial and moral contributor the proposed institute was established in the above mentioned name in 1404 hizri. Among the contributors to the establishment of this institute, the name of Maulana Bahauddin (Rh.) is well-known.

It is a purely religious educational institute. It follows curriculum of the worldly known Islamic University, Darul Uloom Dewband, and has been playing a vital role in various fields of education, social welfare and reform activities. In provides free education food and accommodation to poor and orphan students. This jamia aims, in all its activities, at gaining favour of Almighty Allah though preparing a group of dedicate muslim scholars and preaches as well as good citizens. So it seeks good wishes and cooperation from benevolent Muslim brothers.
